Most popular: in the software section, Vincent (also know as M.I.B. because of his passion for diving) has reviewed the MediaChance DVD-Lab authoring software which is now one of the most featured and popular DVD authoring software.

In hardware section, he reviewed the Pinnacle Pro-One RT.DV card, a semi-professional (US$ 1,000) real-time editing solution which brings a high value associated with Adobe Premiere. Kimo has reviewed and owns the Matrox RT.X10 (and part 2) which is an affordable (US$ 600) and respectable competitor for the Pinnacle RT.DV.

Jim's selection: in the software, the Cool3D: making titles and animations shows what you can do with this cheap (US$ 45) software from Ulead. Ton wrote a very interesting review illustrated with a downloadable example. The Ulead DVD PictureShow 2.0 review introduces another cheap (US$ 50) Ulead tool with is very very easy to use and very powerful to build slide-shows on Video-CD and DVD-Video (now in competition with NeroVision Express 3).

Our latest review: the AVerMedia® AVerTV USB 2.0 Plus, a cool box sold by Dell for 95 Euros. With the Dell OEM AVerMedia® AVerTV USB 2.0 Plus, you've got high value for your money. This is a cheap, easy-to-use and full featured video to PC box which I recommend if you're looking for a toy to view TV on your PC and it will transform the PC into a nice DVR. It performs good to create VideoCD, SVCD and DVD, it's rather a nice surprise!
