Review: DVDXCopy

As was to be expected with the arrival of DVD recordable, commercial programs are beginning to appear on the market aimed at copying DVD to DVD. There is still a lot of discussion going on whether development and distribution of this kind of software is legal, but apparently some companies are willing to take up the battle against legislation prohibiting copying DVD. Their defense is based on the right to make back up copies from owned DVD’s.

One of the first companies to deliver a commercial DVD to DVD copying program is 321Studios. We got a hold of their program DVDXCopy version 1.3.1 and put it on the test bench.
