iuVCR software and analog capture card
This paper is to present a terrific and inexpensive DVR (Digital Video Recorder) solution for owners of analog capture card.
iuVCR is not freeware but inexpensive ($25), please to reward and encourage Ivan's work:
1. iuVCR software
The
most well known DVR software programs are Cyberlink
PowerVCR ($129.50) and Intervideo
WinDVR ($99.95) which each cost about $100 and they provide
real-time MPEG1 and MPEG2 encoding. iuVCR has the
same DVR features but doesn't encode to MPEG2 nor MPEG1, thus
it is inexpensive at $25.
iuVCR is a video recording program for Windows 2000. It is a DirectShow based application to record long-lasting videos in any resolution with no frame lost, all done with ease.
If you have a TV tuner or a video capture card installed
in your computer, with the Windows 2000 operating system,
you can easily record your favorite TV programs and videos
in .AVI or .WMV format. iuVCR
can automatically start when scheduled and a number of other
situations. You will find all iuVCR features at
Ivan Uskov's software lab.
The DVR command windows (pictured above) can be reduced in the Windows task bar so there is no annoying useless on your desktop.
You can watch TV on a tiny "always on top" windows and at any moment you can enlarge the TV window or pass to full screen.
