DVD copying
This section provides tools to copy DVD-Video, either protected or not. We encourage you to respect authors copyrights, they live from their creations. Therefore, you must use DVD ripping software only when you own a copyright. Some countries, such as France, give anyone a backup copyright, so you just have to own an original commercial DVD-Video to copy it for backup purpose. You must not distribute or lend, even for free, a backup copy.
Some countries have a very restrictive regulation, such as the United States, we encourage you to check your local regulation before downloading, installing or using DVD ripping software.
