Release 4.1.5.0 a.k.a. Beta 5.0 is out, coming as usual with FREE converter ; new 'Rip current title (experimental)' menu to rip DVD title as-is with a new process before converting, this new process may help to rip weird DVD discs (like P90X3 discs).

Reports also include processing information: related messages extracted from processing log.

Release 4.1.1.1 a.k.a. Beta 1.1 is out, comes with free converter, ripper improvements, better audio profile support and better subtitles support (see complete changelog).

Now you can burn-in subtitle text (srt/ssa) from video file input. In job window Abort button becomes magic button (abort/play/report/open) and you can send ripping/transcoding job reports to Starbuck for help. Android VisualOn is set as AAC encoder for 3G2/3GPP and VP9 added to WebM profile. Improved ripping for discs with mastering errors.

Subtitles may come from DVD/Blu-ray rip (picture-based subtitles) or downloaded from the Internet (subtitle text-file). Load a movie and one subtitles track in DVDx 4.1 converter. Choose output profile (AVI, MP4, MOV, etc) and select quality level, eventually tune transcoder settings. And voilà! Start transcoding subtitled video...

Release 4.1.1.0 a.k.a. Beta 1.0 is out, comes with free converter, ripper fixes and audio profile support (see complete changelog).

Now you can load previous MKV rips to recode them, load video files and subtitles files to create MP4 subtitled movies (subtitles tracks or permanent burnt-in-video), extract and transcode audio tracks to audio files. You can also correct downloaded movies with wrong display ratio.

DVDx 4.1 is a long term ambitious project, all features might be available in 2014. So several Preview Releases are planned, first one is 4.1.0.1 which comes with full-featured Blu-ray/HD-DVD/DVD ripper & transcoder and integrated video player.

New Preview Release is planned next month to offer the video converter, which will allow users to transcode video files, particularly MKV files coming from previous ripping.
